According to the public relations report of the International Deputy, the ninth regional meeting of the World Health Summit was held on June 25-27, 1401, hosted by Sapienza University, and the opening speech was given by the Minister of Science and Research of Italy.
During the first day of this international gathering, Dr. Ali Jafarian, the plenipotentiary representative of the university in M8, gave a virtual speech about the sustainability of health financing.
Dr. Amirhossein Takian, Secretary of the M8 alliance, also attended the meeting as the chairman of the artificial intelligence and health meeting.
During the second day of this program and in the climate change panel, he presented his speech on the topic of modeling the effect of climate change on the food security of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the next four decades, which was well received by those present.
Also, the representatives of the university played an active role in preparing and approving the final resolution of M8 at the ninth regional meeting of the World Health Summit, and on the sidelines, they discussed and exchanged opinions with the representatives of the member universities of M8 such as Monash of Australia, Sapienza of Italy and Charite of Germany.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ayati, the International Vice President of the University, and Dr. Takian, at the representative office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Rome, introduced Tehran University of Medical Sciences and its international activities and emphasized the continuous and systematic communication with this office to introduce the university to Italian students and applicants.
