The book titled “Inquiries in health and the COVID-19 crisis” has been published

The COVID-19 global pandemic has affected not only the healthcare systems but also the economic and political systems as well.

Considering this and the environmental roots of behavior, their impact and how to deal with them, the book titled “Inquiries in health and the COVID-19 crisis in the I.R. Iran” has been gathered by the endeavors of Dr. Mohammadhossein Niknam, Dr. Freidoon Azizi and their co-authors.

The authors note in the introduction: according to many researchers, this disease may be an excellent opportunity to gather knowledge and experience on national, regional, and international levels and lead to improving over-all health and social resilience for the future crises. 

In this book subjects such as corona and medical sciences, managing COVID-19, hospital management, virtual education in medicine, and other medical challenges resulted from this virus in Iran have been discussed which can answer many questions.

The Health Equity Research Center has been honored to write one of the chapters of this piece titled “The COVID-19 pandemic and sustainable development in the world.” We hope that this piece would help dissolve some of the challenges this crisis has caused.
