As we approach the election season and changing of government in Iran every profession is faced with specific types of questions about their future, possibilities, and challenges.

The health sector is no exception to this rule. what changes would be implemented by the new government? would we face new health challenges in the proceeding years? what effects will the COVID-19 pandemic have on healthcare? these are the questions that ought to be asked and discussed now.

This is why the Forecasting and Big Scale Monitoring of Healthcare Group along with the Health Promotion Group of the Academy of Medical Sciences of IRI have taken upon themselves to assemble a joint meeting to discuss and evaluate such challenges and future possibilities that the government change might bring for the Health sector of our country. Dr. Takian, research deputy of HERC, will also be a guest speaker at this meeting.
