Health Equity Research Center’s nineteenth Journal Club was successfully concluded on the noon of November 15th, 2022.
In this session of our journal club, the main discussion was the paper titled “From Public Health Policy to Impact for COVID-19: A Multi-Country Case Study in Switzerland, Spain, Iran and Pakistan“
Dr. Amirhossein Takian, as the moderator, started the session with a brief overview of the agenda, the paper and its background, and an introduction to our center.
Next, Mrs. Azam Raoofee, one of the authors, presented the paper giving a detailed explanation of its background and methodology and illustrating the main goals and findings pointing to its importance for Iran’s healthcare system.
The session came to an end with a short Q&A panel where attendees could freely discuss the paper and speak with the author.
This was the nineteenth club of our series of Journal Clubs which will be held once a month on Tuesdays. Attendance is free for whoever is interested in subjects of health and equity. Check our website for updates and announcements.
