Health Equity Research Center’s first Journal Club was successfully concluded on the noon of March 13th, 2021.

In this session of our journal club, the main discussion was the paper “Health insurance benefit package in Iran: a qualitative policy process analysis” published by our center. 

Dr. Takian, Center’s research deputy, as the moderator started the session by a brief over view of the agenda, the paper, and an introduction of our center.

Next, Dr. Mohamadi, Center’s steering committee member and one of the authors of the paper, presented the paper giving a detailed explanation of its different aspects and illustrating the main goals and findings.

The session came to an end with a short Q&A panel were attendees could freely discuss the paper and speak with the author.

This was the first club of our series of Journal Clubs which, starting from next year, will be held once every two weeks. Attendance is free for whom ever is interested in subjects of health and equity. Check the website for updates and announcements.
