According to the public relations report of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the Vice-Chancellor of Education held the second cordial meeting of the Vice-Chancellor of Education and selected this year’s top professors and the university’s educational leader. 

On Tuesday, June 3rd, at the same time as the fourth day of the university education week celebrations, the vice president of education and the director of the center for the study and development of medical science education of the university had a cordial meeting with leading professors of the faculties in the field of education from 11:30 to 13:00 in the council hall.

While celebrating Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ Education Week, Dr. Allameh thanked the professors for attending this meeting, and regarding the selection process of the university’s top professors, he said that this is the first year during which the idea of choosing and celebrating our unversity’s top professors has been carried out during the university educations week. In the first step, the faculty were asked to nominate up to 3 outstanding academic staff members in education, at national and international levels to the university’s vice-chancellor. Shua’s data and learners’ evaluation in the Vice-Chancellor’s office were investigated and finally, 17 professors nominated by the faculties were selected as outstanding professors. 

He said that in the first meeting, 9 professors from the faculties of dentistry, pharmacy, paramedicine, modern medical technologies, rehabilitation, nutrition sciences, dietetics and Iranian medicine were honored. In this meeting, 8 professors from the faculties of health, nursing and Obstetrics, medicine, and virtual will be appreciated. 

 

 

During this meeting, respected professors of the university expressed their views on education, and one of the important issues raised by the professors was to strengthen the standing and spirit of teachers among the academic staff members, and it was suggested that holding a workshop on The educational empowerment activities organized by the university education development and studies center should be discussed in the university. 

 

 

Dr. Mafinejad, the director of the center for studies and development of medical sciences education at the university, announced that it is a source of pride and honor that for the first time, Tehran University of Medical Sciences has been able to achieve 1st place in three fields in the festival.

In the end, the Director of the Center for Studies and Educational Development of the University, while inviting respected professors to participate in the Martyr Motahari Festival, announced that this festival would mark the end of the Education Week Congress on Wednesday, June 4, with the presence of  University’s President, in order to introduce and discuss the best educational processes.

In the end, Dr. Mohammad Reza Pourmand and Dr. Amir Hossein Tekian from the Faculty of Health, Dr. Maryam Damghanian and Dr. Jamaluddin Bagjani from the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Dr. Parvin Pasalar and Dr. Mohammad Jalili from the Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Mitra Zulfiqari from the Virtual Faculty were presented a memorial plaque as a token of appreciation. Dr. Hadi Ahmadi Amoli was also one of the selected professors of the Faculty of Medicine who was not present at the meeting.
