Health Equity Research Center’s second Journal Club was successfully concluded on the noon of April 17th, 2021.

In this session of our journal club, the main discussion was the paper “Application of discrete choice experiments to estimate value of life: a national study protocol in Iran.”

Dr. Takian, Center’s research deputy, as the moderator started the session with a brief overview of the agenda, the paper, and an introduction of our center.

Next, Dr. Droudi, Associate professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, presented the paper giving a detailed explanation of its Methodology and illustrating the main goals and innovations. This was followed by a more detailed presentation of the research’s different steps and gains by Miss Mirzaee, the author.

The session came to an end with a short Q&A panel where attendees could freely discuss the paper and speak with the author.

This was the second club of our series of Journal Clubs which, will be held once every other week on Satur days. Attendance is free for whoever is interested in subjects of health and equity. Check the website for updates and announcements.
