Health Equity Research Center’s third Journal Club was successfully concluded on the noon of May 1st, 2021.

In this session of our journal club, the main discussion was the paper “Assessing the efficiency of Iran health system in making progress towards universal health coverage: a comparative panel data analysis

Dr. Olyaeemanesh, Center’s Director, as the moderator started the session with a brief overview of the agenda, the paper, and an introduction of our center.

Next, Dr. Hanie Sajadi, the paper’s author, presented the paper giving a detailed explanation of its Methodology and illustrating the main goals and findings of the article pointing to its importance for Iran’s healthcare system.

The session came to an end with a short Q&A panel where attendees could freely discuss the paper and speak with the author.

This was the third club of our series of Journal Clubs which, will be held once every other week on Saturdays. Attendance is free for whoever is interested in subjects of health and equity. Check the website for updates and announcements.
