According to the school of public health’s public relations’ report, this meeting was held on Nov 24, 2019, with Dr. Daroody, re-presenter of UNAIDS in Iran and a member of the Management Sciences and Health Economy faculty, Dr. Haghdoost, director of the national center for medical education’s strategic research, Dr. Mohrez, professor at TUMS and the director of TUMS’s AIDS research center, Dr. Takian, deputy of international relations of the school and a member of the management sciences and health economy faculty as attendees.

In this meeting, the new estimation model for HIV/AIDS detection in our country, as a  Ph.D. thesis in health economics with supervision from Dr. Takian, Dr. Farzadfar, Dr.Haghdoost, Dr. Sharifi, and Dr. Hosseini, with hopes of reaching sustainable health development goals was presented and was discussed to correct and adjust it according to our country’s specific needs.
This is the first model made for HIV/AIDS detection that’s been adjusted to the specific conditions of our country in regards to sustainable health development goals.
